Women with cerebral palsy (CP) have significantly lower rates of routine gynecologic preventive care—including Pap tests, mammograms, and general exams—compared to women without CP. This healthcare disparity persists even after adjusting for comorbidities, geographic region, insurance type, and age. Such deficits may increase risk for preventable gynecologic diseases and underscore the need for targeted interventions.
