Clinical trials are the cornerstone of advancing therapeutic options for ovarian cancer, a disease with a high mortality rate and often late diagnosis. However, equitable access to interventional clinical trials remains a persistent challenge, potentially exacerbating disparities in outcomes. This article reviews a comprehensive U.S. county-level study assessing how community social vulnerability influences availability of ovarian cancer clinical trials over a 13-year period.
