In a phase 1 first-in-human study involving 5 heavily pretreated patients with relapsed/refractory multiple myeloma and plasma cell leukemia, CT0590 showed a favorable safety profile without graft-versus-host disease (GVHD) or dose-limiting toxicities.
Clinical responses included stringent complete responses with durable remissions beyond 20 months, associated with high universal CAR T-cell expansion and elevated baseline NKG2A expression on NK cells in responders.
