Enhancing Stroke Recovery: Adjunctive Normobaric Hyperoxia with Endovascular Thrombectomy in Late-Presenting Large Vessel Occlusion
A phase IIb trial shows that adding normobaric hyperoxia to endovascular thrombectomy in acute ischemic stroke patients 6 to 24 hours after onset is safe, improves early neurological outcomes, and reduces infarct volume, warranting larger confirmatory studies.
