Asciminib as a Robust Treatment Option for BCR::ABL1 T315I-Mutated Chronic Myeloid Leukemia: Final Phase 1 Trial Outcomes

Highlight

This phase 1 trial provides final long-term data validating asciminib’s targeted inhibition of the ABL1 myristoyl pocket to overcome resistance caused by the T315I mutation in chronic-phase chronic myeloid leukemia (CML-CP). After up to approximately six years of treatment, over half the patients achieve and sustain major molecular response, with a stable safety profile and low discontinuation.
