Urban Greenness Associated with Fewer Mental-Health Hospital Admissions — But Effects Vary Across Countries
A multinational time-series analysis of 11.4 million admissions found that higher neighbourhood greenness (NDVI) was linked to lower hospital admissions for mental disorders overall, with heterogeneity across countries and disorder types and the strongest, most consistent benefits in urban areas.
