Feasibility and Clinical Utility of Gastric Point-of-Care Ultrasound (G-POCUS) for Postoperative Gastric Content Assessment

This prospective pilot study demonstrates that gastric point-of-care ultrasound (G-POCUS) performed by trained nurses is a feasible, well-tolerated, and reliable method to assess gastric content in patients recovering from gastrointestinal surgery, supporting its integration into routine postoperative care.
