Dupilumab demonstrated a substantial 38% reduction in emergency department (ED) visits and hospital admissions in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) exhibiting type 2 inflammation. Additionally, the therapy decreased systemic corticosteroid use by 42% and 28% for severe and moderate exacerbations, respectively, highlighting its potential to mitigate treatment-related adverse effects and improve clinical outcomes.
