Introduction
Acquired brain injury (ABI) in children aged 6 to 17 years poses significant long-term challenges not only for the affected child but also for their families. Understanding family needs is critical for designing supportive interventions and guiding clinical rehabilitation. The Pediatric Family Needs Questionnaire (FNQ-P) is designed to systematically capture these needs. This article reviews the psychometric validation of the Norwegian version of FNQ-P in parents and caregivers of children living with chronic-phase ABI, highlighting its reliability and construct validity.
