This review synthesizes evidence on preS1 antigen and anti-preS1 IgG dynamics in chronic hepatitis B, highlighting their correlations with viral replication, liver inflammation, and functional cure, and elucidates the neutralising potential of anti-preS1 antibodies as markers of endogenous viral control.
