Adjunctive Omega-3 Supplementation Does Not Improve Pediatric Major Depressive Disorder: Insights from a Multi-Center Randomized Trial
A multi-center randomized clinical trial involving 257 youths found that adjunctive omega-3 fatty acids (1.5 g/d) did not outperform placebo in treating moderate-to-severe pediatric major depressive disorder, despite high adherence and concurrent psychotherapy.
