Antiepileptogenesis

The BIA-2093-213 trial evaluated eslicarbazepine acetate for preventing post-stroke epilepsy. While the primary endpoint was not met due to being underpowered, the study establishes a feasible framework for future antiepileptogenesis research using clinical risk stratification.
