Prevalence and Clinical Characteristics of Macro-TSH in Patients with Subclinical Hypothyroidism
Macro-TSH was rare but clinically important in patients with subclinical hypothyroidism, sometimes mimicking true thyroid disease and leading to unnecessary levothyroxine use. Specialized testing confirmed multiple immunoglobulin-linked TSH complexes.
