Targeting the CXCL9/CXCL10-CXCR3+ CD8+ T Cell Axis: Unraveling Anti-PD-1 Antibody-Associated Cardiotoxicity in Pressure Overload Heart Failure
Anti-PD-1 antibody exacerbates pressure overload-induced heart failure by promoting CXCR3+ CD8+ T cell infiltration, which impairs cardiomyocyte mitochondrial function via granzyme B and perforin. This study identifies a novel immunopathogenic mechanism and therapeutic targets to mitigate cardiotoxicity.
