Premature Natural Menopause Signals Higher Lifetime Coronary Heart Disease Risk in Both Black and White Women
A pooled US cohort analysis found that natural menopause before age 40 was associated with about a 40% higher lifetime risk of coronary heart disease in both Black and White women, supporting its use as a routine cardiovascular risk-enhancing factor.
