Evolving Trends in Late-Onset Sepsis Among Very Preterm Infants: Insights From a 14-Year Population-Based Study
Late-onset sepsis (LOS) incidence among very preterm infants declined from 2010 to 2017 but has risen since, driven mainly by increasing infections from non-CoNS gram-positive bacteria and gram-negative pathogens, notably Staphylococcus aureus and Klebsiella species.
