Timing Delivery for Large-for-Gestational-Age Fetuses: The Case for Earlier Induction
A large cohort study of over 84,000 pregnancies reveals that induction at 38-39 weeks for large-for-gestational-age fetuses achieves comparable cesarean risk to spontaneous labor at 40 weeks, while avoiding the steep rise in complications beyond 40 weeks.
