Higher-Quality Carbohydrates and Fibre-Rich Foods Associate with Better Left Ventricular Structure and Function: Insights from CARDIA
In the CARDIA cohort, higher carbohydrate quality (lower carbohydrate:fibre ratio) and greater intake of fibre-rich foods were associated with more favorable left ventricular structure and function measured 25–30 years after baseline diet assessment.
